When it comes to refrigeration systems, people most often think of the food and beverage industry. But there are so many other industries that rely on refrigeration systems. Where would ice rinks be without excellent refrigeration equipment? Not every state has access to numerous outdoor facilities like Minnesota does. And what about those hockey players and figure skaters that would be lost without ice rinks that are available 24/7 all year round? Thanks to the ice rink refrigeration consultants and ice rink engineers at RECCO, ice rinks across the country can keep their doors open with state of the art ice rink refrigeration systems and ice rink engineering.
Planning new facilities or facility renovations with proven refrigeration innovations is critical to being successful in the early years and for long term system operation. RECCO will work with you to plan your skating facility from top to bottom. We are able to construct the rink, refrigeration system, dehumidification system, heat recovery system and dasher boards. We work with each client to select the optimal type of rink chilling system that meets their financial and functional needs. We cater to those who demand the highest standards when it comes to engineering ice rink refrigeration systems.
There are many opportunities to reduce the operating costs in ice arenas. Many existing facilities select RECCO for refrigeration upgrades to reduce operating costs, while also reaping the benefits in the form of incentives from their utility companies. The main concern of a rink owner is maintaining a reliable system that is necessary to keep the ice frozen under all conditions, even when the temperature outside rises during the summer months. Many owners have selected RECCO as their service provider to keep their facilities in top condition and to respond quickly when a service need arises.
RECCO currently services more than 50 ice skating facilities throughout the New England area and is an active member of NEISMA (North East Ice Skating Managers Association). Our service technicians have installed, started and serviced several sophisticated types of ice rink systems manufactured by such leaders as CIMCO, Ketema, M&M, Trane and Carrier. Our technicians are well versed in the different types of compressors, motors, pumps, controls and components used in the ice rink industry.
Contact RECCO today by telephone at 800-990-9423 or by email us at email@example.com to schedule an appointment with one of our ice rink refrigeration consultants to design your ice rink refrigeration or give your current rink system an upgrade.
Below are some of the testimonials from many of RECCO’s satisfied rink owners and operators. It’s the best compliment that we can receive; words of thanks from our appreciative clients for a job well done.

Steriti Rink Update – Rink will open Saturday November 17th!!!!!!!!
I wanted to send a follow-up email with the status of the Steriti Rink repairs and opening schedule.
The new condensers arrived last week on Thursday November 8,2012 and RECCO worked thru the night re-piping the new condensers. Both Condensers were fully installed and turned on by Friday late afternoon on the 9th. On Sunday the 11th DCR staff put the first layers of ice down on the rink bed surface which was operating at a 13 degree F temperature. The ice surface was painted on Tuesday night the 13th and DCR staff has been adding the required layers of ice all week to open the rink this Saturday November 17th. The ice surface looks great and the rink is ready to open for tomorrow…Thank you Operations and RECCO for all your help. Eddie/Recco great job with getting the new Condensers delivered and installed with only a week delay in opening. NICE JOB ALL!!!!
” Hello Peter,
I just wanted to take a minute to let you know how much I appreciate the group of workers that were here working on the cooling tower job.
^ The RECCO technicians are hard workers, I’m sure you know that. It was a very long day for everybody on this project in the rain, but yet there was not one complaint throughout the day and night. You have a very talented group of employees.
I look forward to doing all business here at the rinks with Recco in the future.
I hope you have a great holiday season!
P.S. I know Gino worked hard on the details of this project. I believe everything worked out because of him.”
“I would just like to personally thank you and your people specifically Joe (Hanley and Jared for their work at the Charlestown Ice Rink. Without their diligence and outstanding performance I would not be at the point I am as we approach our opening on September 18.
Please pass my thanks on to them and once again it is always a pleasure to have your team maintain, repair and keep our refrigeration equipment up to the standards they need to be.”
